Our Infrastructure, Construction and Procurement Co-Chair, Scott Lamb, was a panelist at the British Columbia Construction Roundtable’s “Technology and AI in the Construction Lifecycle” event yesterday (October 17th).
The event, held at The Vancouver Club in downtown Vancouver, focused on the ongoing transformation in the construction industry and how AI can unlock new opportunities for project planning and execution. Scott discussed how technology and AI can improve efficiency in the construction industry, particularly regarding legal disputes and contextualizing vast amounts of data needed to reach a resolution.
Scott was joined by fellow panelists, Professor Tony Yang, professor of Structural and Earthquake Engineering at the University of British Columbia, and Sina Karimi, research and development lead at Pomerlau. The discussion was moderated by Shawn Grey, CEO of ConstructIQ Advisory.
