Richard Weiland presented to the Estate Planning Council of Victoria on the subject of “Planning for and Administering Digital Assets” on February 11, 2014. His presentation included a discussion of various types of digital assets and the challenges they present in estates, the duties of executors and administrators in administering digital assets, and related planning considerations. The event was well-received and was attended by 92 people, breaking EPC’s record for the number of registrants at a meeting. You can see his presentation paper here.
