On January 22, 2014, Raman Johal presented to the CBA National Insurance Law Section. In “Getting the Jump on Coverage and Liability – A Review of 2013’s Most Notable Cases“, Raman, Nathalie David (Clyde & Co Canada LLP) and Joe Burke (Cox & Palmer), discussed the liability and coverage cases that will shape the legal landscape in the coming year. In recognition of their participation, the CBA contributed to the Law for the Future Fund, which provides financial assistance for Canadian research projects of national interest or public benefit in the areas of legal research, legal education, legislation and law reform, and the administration of justice.
