Ryan Lincoln

Associate

Tax law is a complicated yet unavoidable field that demands a deep knowledge of ever-evolving legislation and a keen eye for detail. Ryan’s previous foundational experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant has equipped him with a thorough understanding of financial complexities, enabling him to navigate the intricate world of tax law with exceptional skill.

Having previously worked closely with judges as a judicial clerk at the Tax Court of Canada, Ryan gained firsthand insight into how judges approach and resolve tax disputes. He also has legal experience working in-house at one of Canada’s largest institutional investors and a well-known Canadian retail chain. These past experiences drive Ryan’s ability to develop effective tax plans which complement his clients’ pre-existing business goals and strategies.

Ryan’s practical experience extends beyond legal practice. He successfully built a payroll cost forecast and hiring plan for a company that grew from 30 to 70 employees in a one-year span, demonstrating his ability to apply his financial knowledge to real-world business challenges. His deep appreciation for the interplay between tax, business, and financial planning makes him a well-rounded and knowledgeable advisor.

A former NCAA varsity tennis player, Ryan understands that a commitment to excellence and strong work ethic is required to reach the top of any given field. He now takes that same approach to go above and beyond in pursuit of his clients’ best interests.
