I have had an incredible experience summering at Clark Wilson. I have felt so welcomed onto the team. Lawyers and staff have all taken a genuine interest in me, my interests, and my goals, and have worked to ensure my summer experience provides me with opportunities that both respond to my interests, and push me to try things I would not have been exposed to otherwise. Even tasks that are not client or file related—including drafting blog posts, revising textbooks, and preparing internal and external presentations—have provided opportunities to learn about new areas of law, or thoughtfully consider interesting and emerging issues. The balance of learning and observing, and interesting and challenging work, has enabled me to grow as a student and as a person.

I have greatly appreciated the mentorship and trust from supervising lawyers, and the support from the entire team: no issue is too small and no question too insignificant for someone to take a moment out of their day to answer.

Being in the office for the summer has reinforced how excited I am not just about working here at Clark Wilson, but about choosing this career, and I look forward to returning to article next year.
