Daniel understands the complexities and nuances of different family relationships and dynamics, and that these matters are the single most pressing and important thing in our clients’ lives.

He is committed to helping clients navigate these deeply personal and intricate legal processes in a practical and meaningful way, recognizing that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution. Daniel works closely with our clients to understand their unique circumstances, uncover all of the issues at hand, and discuss what success looks like to them. Based on these conversations, and under the guidance of our senior lawyers, Daniel develops strategies to help clients achieve their goals.

Although family matters are best resolved outside of the courtroom, it is essential to recognize that some family conflicts will inevitably require litigation. Our clients benefit from Daniel’s litigation experience before the Supreme Court of British Columbia for issues that cannot be settled through alternative dispute resolution.

Outside of his family law practice, Daniel was a nationally licensed soccer coach, working closely with young players and their parents to achieve individual and team goals. As a result, Daniel has gained invaluable and unique insights into how different family arrangements impact kids and the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with the youngest stakeholders in the family unit.
