When litigation becomes necessary, Dan acts as a strong advocate for his clients. Having appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia, Dan is well equipped to prosecute and defend claims through litigation.
At every stage of the litigation process, Dan is committed to finding practical, efficient, and fair resolutions for his clients through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration. Dan appreciates the importance of reputation and relationships in business and considers the long-term impact on his clients’ business when he approaches disputes and potential resolutions.
In his construction litigation practice, Dan assists clients on matters involving builders liens, defect and negligence claims, and delay claims. He regularly gives presentations to industry stakeholders on construction related matters, including builders liens.
In his commercial litigation practice, Dan assists businesses and individuals with various matters, including claims for breach of contract, creditors remedies, partnership and shareholder disputes, and real property disputes.
Dan has been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association of BC during his career, and he currently serves on the organization’s Board of Directors.
