From there, she employs her extensive experience and relentless research skills to assess the matter from every possible perspective to deliver the optimal solution.

Anastasiia works in our Intellectual Property group as a licensed trademark agent. She assists clients with a range of trademark services, from trademark registrability searches and prosecution of trademark applications to trademark opposition and expungement proceedings.

Anastasiia has a wealth of experience handling large trademark portfolios for industry leaders in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Before moving to Canada, Anastasiia completed a law degree in her native Ukraine, and practiced there for several years, focusing on intellectual property prosecution and litigation. Anastasiia has also completed two master’s degrees, with honours in intellectual property law and intellectual property management.

Having a deep affinity for art, Anastasiia truly appreciates the creative process and the innovations produced by her clients. Helping protect those innovations—and the unique trademarks therewith—is a privilege for Anastasiia.
