At a recent roundtable meeting of the International Trademark Association in San Francisco, Neil Melliship and Jeffrey Vicq spoke to local attorneys about pending changes to Canadian trademark law.

The changes – arguably representing the most significant shift in Canadian trademark law since its inception – are expected to come into force next year.  Attendees also learned about unique cost-saving opportunities arising from the transition.
