Cohen Hocking was promoted from an articled student to an associate and joins our Indigenous Law and Private Company Mergers & Acquisitions groups. His practices includes business purchase and sale transactions, shareholder agreements, First Nations governance, Aboriginal and Treaty rights, environmental and regulatory law, and resource development.
Kezia Messakh was promoted from an articled student to an associate and joins our Strata Property and General Civil Litigation groups. Her practice includes bylaws and resolutions, strata governance, bylaw enforcement proceedings, claims involving strata corporations, Civil Resolution Tribunal matters, strata collections, lien enforcement applications, forced sales of strata lots, and bare land strata corporations.
Melanee Bryniawsky was promoted from an articled student to an associate and joins our Indigenous Law and General Business Law groups. Her practice includes community-based Aboriginal business ventures, First Nations land development, First Nations governance as well as corporate and commercial agreements and real estate transactions.
Spencer Oberst was promoted from an articled student to an associate and joins our Capital Markets, Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions group. His practice includes corporate governance including regulatory compliance and policy crafting policies, private debt and equity financings, and prospectus offerings and IPOs.
