The World Trademark Review’s prestigious WTR 1000 is the only standalone publication recommending individual practitioners and their firms exclusively in the trademark field. It identifies the leading players in over 80 key jurisdictions through competitor and client interviews. The 2022 edition of the ranking was published today.
Practice leaders Neil Melliship and Jeffrey Vicq were again named to the WTR 1000: Melliship was lauded for his “keen eye for emerging technologies” with his complimentary knowledge of commercial law that underpins “solid” advice. Vicq was described as having “a laser-like focus on business solutions, which he pairs with a quick wit and jovial attitude. Simply put, he is a standout locally and worldwide.” Joining them for a second year, Athar Malik was noted for bringing “valuable insight in the most complex matters”, with his litigation background giving him the talent to “anticipate and avoid problems before they occur.”
The quality of Clark Wilson’s entire trademark team was also acknowledged, being described as “one of the strongest players on the west coast, especially for tech clients”, enjoying “a loyal roster of both domestic and international brand owners – often serving as a gateway into the region for some of Silicon Valley’s most well-known enterprises.”
This ranking further confirms the positioning of the Clark Wilson trademark group near the forefront of this increasingly competitive industry.
Well done, team!
