Maria Di Paolo in our litigation department had (secretly!) been taking classes with the “SFU NOW: Nights or Weekends” program over the last few years. This allowed her to complete her bachelor of arts in criminology, finishing the degree she had started back in 1986.

Maria was also featured in an interview posted on SFU.ca, discussing her drive to complete her degree, and how taking the SFU NOW program allows her to think far more critically at work.

A job well done to Maria, who knows there’s never a bad time to go back to school.
