Michal has published numerous articles in Legal Framework, the Journal of Commerce and Bar -Ex on construction law matters, BCRELinks.com on commercial real estate matters and is a frequent contributor to Megawatt: British Columbia Renewable Energy Blog on climate change and renewable energy law and policy. Michal received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2000. He attended the University of Alberta Faculty of Law for his first year of law school before transferring to the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2005. While studying law at the University of Alberta, Michal was a Dean's List student and was offered the Chief Justice S. Bruce Smith Award for achieving the highest standing in first year. Michal completed his summer and full articles with Clark Wilson and he was called to the Bar of British Columbia in August 2006.
